ENGR. NURA KHALIL TO PROFFER A LASTING SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEMS FACED BY RURAL DWELLERS IN KASTINA STATE

Engr. Nura Khalil in one of his remarks during an interview promised the good people of the State that his time in Office will “pay a special attention to rural development because majority of our people live in the rural areas”.
In an explicit commitment to rural development, Engr. Nura Khalil emphasized that his tenure will open up the rural areas, create more urban centers, develop fresh economic opportunities and reduce pressure on urban areas to boost socio-economic expansion and give rural dwellers a sense of belonging, this he said will be achieved through the remodeling of satellite towns in the State. 
To actualize this, Engr. Nura Khalil, as an ingenious of the state, will meet with stakeholders of the state, where his plans for the development of the state shall be unanimously endorsed. Engr. Nura Khalil, stated that the plan needs a constitutional backing through budget allocation in the area. Engr. Nura Khalil said in line with the promises made, he will ensure that good representation, peace and poverty alleviation are made his top priority in while in office.
He further made it clear that policy thrust of  his regime will remain grassroots-oriented, focusing on developing the rural communities through concentration of massive infrastructural development in the most remote and neglected areas across the state.
During his stay in office he will pay unannounced visit to sites of ongoing projects to personally inspect the neglected road and interface with the people of the community to find out directly from them their most immediate need for government’s interventions, this will be a clear evidence of his commitment to rural development.
As part of his intention in commitment to grassroots initiative he also promise to initiate a community-based programme that will be carefully designed to attract N20 million worth of project in every community in the area, in line with the grassroots development initiatives.
The above are just tips of the icebergs of massive and verifiable infrastructural development Engr. Nura Khalil will initiate in the rural areas in the State during his regime.
 Apart from the remarkable impacts in rural development, which will be the focal point of his regime, Engr. Nura Khalil’s regime will also make a mark in other spheres of development.
These include education, agriculture, health, workers’ welfare, peace initiatives, security, mass housing scheme, investment promotion/economic recovery, employment generation, enhanced social services and good governance, prudent management of resources, etc. 
Engr. Nura Khalil will also make positive impact in upgrading existing infrastructures, through rehabilitation of numerous urban roads, and maintenance of street lights and traffic lights as well as failed portions of roads built by the past administration under the scheme that will be initiated.
All these, therefore, form the highlight of Engr. Nura Khalil’s priority and reason to celebrate his candidacy in Katsina State. The journey has just begun…
